Frequently asked questions
How RTT® differs from other modalities?
RTT® starts from the premise that there is always an answer and a solution. No one was born with negative beliefs and habits; we acquire them somewhere along the way. One of RTT® ’s most powerful tools is the line of questioning we use to elicit what has happened to you, how you felt about it and what belief you formed about what happened. The method is designed to rapidly uncover what lies beneath your feelings and behaviours and then fast-track an awareness for you. Understanding how you got to have a certain feeling, belief or behaviour liberates you and gives you the power to change them for better ones.

How many sessions do I need?
It varies from person to person and depends on several things like the severity and the complexity of your presenting problem and your determination, your involvement. It is part of the discussion we have during our consultation call. In general resolving an issue takes 1 to 3 sessions. Oftentimes clients come with a list of issues in which case we can focus on one problem at a time.

How much time it will take to notice the change?
There are 3 ways we experience change: immediately, cumulatively (you experience little shifts in your thoughts, behaviour, reactions that add up over time) and retrospectively (only when you look back after a while you realise that you are no longer the way you were before).
The majority of my clients experience an “AHA-moment” during the session followed by some instant shifts in their thinking, then they continue to experience either gradual change - especially if the issue had an impact on several aspect of their lives - , or they realise sometimes months after that they no longer have the issue or behave/react a certain way.

Overcoming an issue is a process that starts during the session and continues after the session. We carry certain limiting beliefs that originate in our childhood, which means for many, many years, so it's normal that our mind takes some time to fully let go of them, but that doesn't mean that you need a session in a weekly basis until it happens. All you need is to listen to your recording for the agreed time, a bit of patience and to be compassionate with yourself.
Is an online session as effective as an in person one?
Yes, it is. Some people even find it easier to relax in the safety of their own home.

Do I have to listen to my audio?
Yes, listening to your personalized audio recording is an absolute must. Think about it, you might have had a destructive belief for years, if not for decades, your mind needs some time to wire in the new, healthier one. The required time may vary from person to person, and depending on the issue, so calculate with a minimum of 21 consecutive days, and then we will see on our follow up call how you should continue after that. Remember, you are doing it for yourself, not for me.

Is hypnosis safe?
It is a natural state to be in. Sometimes we go in and out of this state during the day on our own, when we operate on autopilot or when we are daydreaming. Everyone experience it differently, so do not expect to be hypnotised, but do expect to be relaxed. It is important to know that you are in control all the way. I cannot make you do or say anything that you don't want to.
Is there a science behind hypnosis?

Yes, there are numerous scientific research about the effectiveness of hypnosis on mental and physical health. Here are some links for you:
